Does Practice Make Perfect!?

They say that practice makes perfect, but is perfection truly attainable?

The reality is I am sorry to say, perfection is elusive. What exists, however, is the undeniable power of hard work and dedication. Ask anyone who's taken a few pole classes – it's challenging, but with persistent practice, it becomes more manageable.

Consider this: it's often estimated that it takes about 66 days for something to become a habit, provided you dedicate just 5 minutes daily. Imagine committing to perfecting the dreaded Superman for 66 consecutive days – that's dedication!

Just like how calluses form on your hands after 2 to 4 weeks of consistent practice, or how your skin desensitizes with regular friction, pole training requires a similar commitment. Consistency is key to progress. Your training schedule is your own, and what you invest in it directly impacts what you achieve.

To truly integrate what you learn in classes into your muscle memory, aim to practice at least once a week. This helps embed new skills into your body, making them more natural over time. Remember, the journey towards mastery isn't about achieving perfection; it's about challenging yourself to reach new heights and levels of skill.

So, if you're up for the challenge of mastering your superman for 66 days straight, you're setting a commendable goal. Let's embrace the journey of growth and discovery in our pole practice.
